Whoa, Yesterday my progress meter was barely registering anything and now look! Hahaha, Tommorrow I will post my Actual word count, but for today you get a lovely exerpt of top notch quality writing:
Even though the technological revolution had plateaued the human race was still making great strides in reality television. The dating game show, Love Hurts, started out with 100 people, fifty of each sex. The contestants were randomly paired up and made to play many sorts of degrading games and challenges, including eating bugs and seeing how long they could stay underwater. The wining couples gained immunity and the rest were required to switch partners. They all cohabitated in a big house and every other week one of the couples was voted off the show. The last two couples standing had a tag team boxing match to determine the winner of a million dollars and marriage to their partner. They were then under contract to stay married for a year and film, “Love Hurts”, the movie, which was to be released in theaters worldwide. The host was a smarmy man, named Chase McChester who wore plaid suits and had a huge blonde pompadour.
This is actually one of the "Dares" from the Dares thread on the Nanowrimo Forums. And it's not totally out of context either. ;)
